A little background on Good Girl Millie Cards …
Once upon a time, a small-town girl moved to a big city. Though not one to miss home, she did love getting mail (the kind that comes in a real envelope). So when hand-illustrated postcards started appearing in her mailbox, she was very excited. She taped them to her mirror, her refrigerator, her closet doors. They kept coming, and pretty soon, her tiny apartment was covered. “Who made these cute little cards?” her friends asked. “My mom,” the girl answered. “She misses me.”
Soon the girl (Clare, of NYC) told the mom (Sue, of Williamsburg, Virginia) to “start a business!” (selling cards, handmade and locally printed) named for the new puppy (Millie, who is usually a good girl).
At Good Girl Millie Cards, our mission is to revive the lost art of letter writing, one cute little card at a time.
Some notes about the note cards:
Cards measure 3.5x5, are suitable for mailing, and come in packs of 8 with envelopes. (The retriever cards are also available as a large flat.) Each pack is adorably and compactly wrapped in cellophane.
Sets are as pictured, but we’re happy to customize a pack for you for a small extra charge.
In-stock items are usually shipped within 48 hours. We do our best to restock sold-out items quickly, but it can take up to two weeks for our print shop to have them ready. Please let us know if you are in a rush!
Need a last-minute gift? We’re happy to send off some cards for you, and will attach a handwritten message on one of my gift tags. Message card and twine bow are included in the price! Email us from the Contact page with your details.
Custom and personalized cards are also an option! And we take commissions, as well … pet portraits and home illustrations are favorites. We also design invitations, save-the-date cards, menus, baby announcements, and so on! Send us an email from the Contact page for details.
Flat-rate shipping is $6.50 per order. As of 9/25, we’ve had to increase our shipping rate due to the USPS increase.
Local hand-delivery is available, and comes with a free gift!
